Helm Greycastle, launched by Picture Comics by Prime Cow Productions, is described by the writer as a Latinx fantasy collection, and the principle story might be accompanied by a Latinx RPG by Tristan J. Tarwater, with illustrations from Jen Vaughn.
“La Voz De M.A.Y.O. opened my eyes to how ignorant I’m to my ingenious roots as a Mexican-American,” author Barajas advised The Hollywood Reporter, referencing his acclaimed debut comic, primarily based on the lifetime of real-life veteran and civil rights chief Ramon Jaurigue. “Helm Greycastle is a love letter to J. R. R. Tolkien and Dungeons and Dragons — and exhibiting individuals of shade that they will exist on this house, too.”
With a primary difficulty that includes covers from Handoko and Valenza, David Lapham (Stray Bullets), Tony Parker (God of Battle) and Becky Cloonan (Immortal Marvel Girl), the collection launches digitally and in comedian ebook shops April 28.
